How to get attention

And Summer is not the only one wanting attention...
Summer has given up me, and is cuddling up to Taiga.
He is trying to sleep so she's not getting the attention she wants there either. We are all hopeless, imagine turning down such a cute cat wanting attention.

Kikkin' kittens!

We are expecting kittens in about two weeks, and today I felt the first little kicks from Bagheeras tummy. It is always a wonderful feeling, and I'm looking so much forward to it!

I had to take a couple of photos to celebrate the event, Bagheera does not like the camera at all, but these two turned out quite ok :0)

She is very feminin, but still have that "killing look" I love in sibirians. she is of medium size, good boning, small ears, very good profile and nice rounded forehead. Her mussle needs some help from Taiga. Also I hope Taiga can help with the coat texture, Bagheera has a lot of fur but it is too soft. About rufism I'm very curious what will happen, I fear there will be some from Taigas warm brown colourtone, but time will tell :0)

Having a bad hair day?

Maks the dog has been "moved" from my everyday blog to my (N)Solstorm's-blog even though he's not a cat, and not part om my breeding programme. This is mostly because he doesn't know he's not a cat, he only thinks he's a little tall and skinny for his age... In his world he's the most beautiful cat ever, and everytime I call the cats Maks will come running. That hardly ever happends when I call his name *sigh*

Maks' breeder commented on his hair tonight. She sais it is a good thing to have lots of fur, as long as it grows in the right places *LOL*. She also thinks he is a little young to have this cind of "hentesveis" hairdo *ROFL*

I think he's cute with his hair like this and I always cuddle with it, altough he looks kinda stupid looking like this too :0)

Taiga forgot for a second he's supposed to be a grown up and not a little kitten. He looks cute "as a kitten" though :0)

Some daily events

I would like to remind everyone I do not sell kittens for neva breeding, the reason I do not do it is I have agreed in a contract saying I will not do it, and also I don't consider neva masquerade a sibirian, but another breed. I don't want to contribute to mixing the two breeds.

An odd couple

Maks the dog loves our cats, and sometimes gets to play with them. Especially Summer and Bagheera is not afraid of him and can enjoy a playfight every now and then. Summer is the only one actually attacking his weak point - his long legs. There's no claws or biting involved in this film, on the contrary: notice Maks laying flat down on the floor, trying to be as little as he can be. He and Summer are just playing.

In the beginning of May Taiga will attend the show at LIRAK catclub
At the end of May Taiga and Summer will attend Polarkattens show.
We are then planning a show in Umeå for Taiga and Summer too, And then Gisund catclub.
At Gisund I will bring Taiga and Summer for sure, and maybe Bagheera and maybe some kittens... ;0)

A little about our plans

The king himself, Mr IC FIN*Amante's King of Taiga. As it is getting warmer and lighther outside he has started calling more, and he also needs to boss his girls around a little. But mostly he's just wonderful, and we can all live with a little hormones. I will get around to buying stuff for his outside catrun so he can be occupied with hunting flies and spiders for a few hours every day.
Taiga is IC now, and I'll now aim for the GIC-title . He will be shown toghether with Summer, and I have some shows planned for him, but not all decided yet.
Then we have the father & daughter (N)CarilloCat Lucky Day, and Le Sphinx Killing My Dream.

Summer will be shown quite a lot before she is mated, I have some shows already planned and are thinking about some others too. Maks the dog will maybe be shown a little this summer too :0) This is (N)Solstorm's Ramp Salvian Taiganov at 13 weeks. He will move to Finnmark, in the north of Norway after he has been neutered next week.

And here is (N)Solstorm's Blå Rock Salvian Taiganov. The two remaining brothers are both so lovely. Blå Rock will move to Buskerud in the south of Norway at the end of February.

Blå Rock togheter with mum. Her full name is now IC S*Kazol's Bissan JW. Still the only sibirian in Norway with the Junior Winner title. She will not be shown again. She will stay at home and be the queen of the house.

At last two photos of Maks the dog, and (N)Gaupekatten's Frøken Norge. She is pregnant now, but after she's had her kittens I will show her a little. Maybe aldready this summer if she still is in good condition after rearing her kittens.

Today Taiga has been busy singing songs for possible girfriends, he has a lovely voise, altough he sounds a little like a crazy cow sometimes... As long as he sticks to singing serenades I will not complaine the least.

And are the girls tempted by his romantic serenades? No, I'm afraid not. They couldn't care less. The dog has got a pig snout as a snack, and the girls are litterarly in his mouth to get a taste for themselves...
